Raising the profile of IB ahead of COP26

With COP26 fast approaching, IBioIC is working hard to raise the profile of IB in the run up to the global summit.

The Times –IBioIC’s CEO was featured in a new supplement for The Times, Business and Economy Recovery, with comments on aspirations around this year’s summit, additionally available on Futurescot online.  

The Herald – IBioIC joined The Herald’s 100 days of hope campaign with piece on the difficulties of ending reliance on oil from CEO Mark Bustard, and a spotlight on member Cyanofeed’s recent scale-up accelerator project.

Waste not, Want not

IBioIC’s CEO was interviewed by editor Chris Beck of leading trade publication Manufacturing Management. Mark’s interview Waste not want not was published in Manufacturing Management’s August/September 2021 magazine as part of a wider look at the circular economy through the eyes of the UK’s manufacturing industries. 


Green Bioactives scales with two contracts and product launch

Cellexus goes for growth with new application of its technology 

IBioIC spearheaded a press release for Dundee-based life sciences company Cellexus on the outcome of an IBioIC funded project that involved Abertay University. The story was picked up in both the print and online version of The Courier, as well as the Dundee Evening Telegraph.

Holyrood Comms Guide 2021  

The Holyrood Comms Guide is a flagship publication from the Dods group that runs after every election and profiles the new Parliamentary intake. In-between the individual MSP profiles are adverts from across the charity, public sector bodies and private sector worlds. A physical copy of the publication is sent to all MSPs. IBioIC took out an advert for the publication in the hope of educating some of the new MSPs on the work of the centre: Getting to Know You: Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre.  


IBioIC mentioned in Scotland’s Top Ten Biotech Companies to Watch Out For  

IBioIC were mentioned in an article in Europe’s leading biotech publication Labiotech.eu and IBioIC members on the list were Enough, NuCana & Roslin Technologies.
