Upstream Bioprocessing Course — IBioIC Publications

FlexBio hosted another edition of our always-popular 3-day Upstream Bioprocessing Course in October. Four attendees had a hands-on experience over the 3 days, culminating in a sterilisation, inoculation, sampling, harvest and cleaning of a 30 litre stainless-steel bioreactor.

Practical sessions were supported by theory sessions from the FlexBio team as well as Glenn Robinson (Getinge) and Caitlin Connolly (Roslin Technologies), covering scale-up theory & technologies as well as mammalian cell culture, respectively.

Attendees came from across the UK and also, for the first time, we welcomed international attendees from Europe.
