Member Networking with a View

IBioIC members were invited to enjoy Networking with a View at Radisson Red in October. 

Our keynote speaker was Alisdair Gunn, Director of Glasgow City Innovation District, who gave a very informative presentation on the growth and development of innovation in Glasgow’s ecosystem.

This was followed by a lively and engaging panel discussion with Professor Gary Loake from Green Bioactives and Douglas Martin from MiAlgae. 

Evelyn McDonald, CEO, Scottish Edge informed members of how to become involved with Scottish Edge by either applying for a competition or becoming a judge or mentor.  

We were especially pleased to welcome so many of our newest members to the event, several of whom took part in the popular quickfire pitching sessions. 

The event concluded with networking in the Sky Bar, whilst enjoying amazing views of Glasgow.
