Scotland's first Bioeconomy Week
Bioeconomy Week Scotland, the first of its kind to be held anywhere in the UK, ran from 3-7 October 2022.
Bioeconomy week showcased Scotland as the location for investing in the emerging biotechnology industry, an education destination for those seeking to study and work in the sector, and a base for accessing world class biotechnology research.
Throughout the week, organisations involved in the Bioeconomy hosted events and activities including workshops, MSP visits, webinars and launches to raise the profile of this important element of Scotland’s economy and its contribution to sustainability and Net Zero goals.
Below are some of the highlights from the Week.
