Bioeconomy Week Scotland 2024
Scotland’s second Bioeconomy Week took place during the week 11 - 15 March 2024, to coincide with IBioIC’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
Events included a networking session delivered by the Bioeconomy Cluster Builder dedicated to sharing knowledge and building connections between the biotechnology and textile industry communities, IBioIC’s evening reception at the Scottish Parliament, an investor pitching session which was the culmination of a year of the Biotech Innovators programme, a webinar from LowInFood and James Hutton Institute on how better coordination and collaboration along the fish supply chain and with innovators can lead to a more profitable and sustainable use of material flows, an IP clinic from Lawrie IP, and a peer-to-peer networking workshop on opportunities and tactics to grow through global trade, aimed at Scottish companies innovating in the Agritech and Aquaculture spaces.
